On 3 September 2026, Astana will host a press conference of Qazaq AI Research University — a new artificial intelligence university established on the instruction of the Head of State.
Ahead of the first academic year, the university will present the results of its launch preparations, its educational model and the key directions of QAIRU’s development.
The event will introduce the AI-enabled University concept, which integrates artificial intelligence into teaching, research, industry engagement and the development of the technology ecosystem.

The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session with university representatives and government officials, covering the training of AI professionals, the quality of education, research, international cooperation and industry engagement.
Short one-on-one interviews with the speakers will also be arranged for members of the press.
